Tuula Wilén

I am a clothing technician, fashion designer B.A.Sc and craft teacher M.Ed. I have also specialized in textile print designs.

I have experience in designing fashion for women and children. I know pattern cutting and technics in garment industry. I can make sizing and instructions for grading and sewing technics.

I have studied a wide range of textile sector and I have taught textiles for many years. In my heart I am designer. I enjoy creating new things and every request from a customer is a pleasant challenge for me. After a successful design work I love to see my designs in different products. I hope people will get the same joy in using them as I got in designing them.

My inspiration comes often from the nature and my style is Scandinavian. I was born on a small island in Finnish archipelago and the sea will always stay in my heart. This background, surrounded by nature and the sea, often also appears in my designs.

Wiula Design was founded in year 2010. The starting point for this business was my huge interest in textile design. My company Wiula Design offers design services for textile and apparel industry. I create print designs for home textiles and designs, patternmaking and sizing for fashion. I want to help my customers to create their best collections. I am happy to work with companies both small and large.
